Zumba classes are moving to a new summer venue--July 2008! Starting
Tuesday, July 8, 2008, Annemarie's Zumba classes will be moving for the summer to Gig Harbor's Impact Church.
We have a great space with a childwatch area adjacent to the workout room (if raining) or in the playground right outside
the glass doors. Impact Church is located at 4819 Hunt St NW,
Gig Harbor, WA, right off the Wollochet Dr. exit of Hwy 16. Annemarie
Cassidy, one of the first Zumba-trained instructors of the Northwest, will be leading Zumba classes on Tuesday and Thursday
mornings at 9:30 am, accompanied by new Zumba instructor Cindy Marsh and Zumba Gold instructor Debra Herbst. Remember,
your first class is always free. Get your friends together, bring the kids, and prepare to have more fun than you should

Annemarie's Zumba background: After teaching kickboxing
for five years, Annemarie found a workout video called "Zumba" and fell in love with the Latin sounds and fun movements
of Zumba founder, Beto Perez. After training in Las Vegas with Beto in July 2006, Annemarie returned to the Tacoma YMCA
saying, "You have to let me teach this class; it's so much fun!" The YMCA staff, not knowing about Zumba,
gave Annemarie a late Monday-evening time slot which has since become one of the Tacoma YMCA's highest attended classes.
Dubbed the "Zumba Queen of Washington" by Zumba Master Trainer Ali Pelito, Annemarie recently moved from Tacoma
to Fox Island and brought Zumba with her. Although Annemarie's classes at the Y now draw up to 90 people, the smaller
environment at Impact will allow you to learn the steps and have fun without the crowd. Come out and see what it's like
to ditch the workout, and join the party!
